SMPS Conduction noise

Conducted noise is measured using a equipment called a LISN (Line Impedance Stabilization Network) .
Measure the noise that is transmitted from the power supply equipment and output through the input line.
Below is a picture of LISN and a sample noise waveform.

File name:Conduction-noise-summary.pdf

Explains the equivalent circuit for conducting noise measurement and the causes of noise generation.
The method of suppressing conduction noise differs depending on the frequency band.
See below for noise countermeasures for each frequency band.

File name:Low-band-noise-solution.pdf

This file introduces noise suppression methods for conduction noise, mainly at 0.15 to 0.5MHz.

File name:Middle-band-noise-solution.pdf

This file introduces noise suppression methods for conduction noise, mainly at 0.5~10MHz.

File name:High-band-noise-solution.pdf

This file introduces noise suppression methods for conduction noise, mainly at 10~30MHz.

SMPS Radiation noise

An antenna is used to measure the radiation noise.
Below is a picture of antenna and a sample noise waveform.

File name:Radiation-noise-solution.pdf
This file introduces methods for suppressing radiated electromagnetic noise.
